We envision a thriving democracy that is truly representative of every person and community, creating a nation with equitable and fair access to opportunities, resources, and civic power.

At Fair Count, we believe that true representation begins with being counted. When communities are accurately represented in the census and other civic processes, they gain access to the resources and political voice they deserve.

Our work extends beyond just counting—we're building sustainable civic engagement infrastructure in communities that have historically been marginalized from the democratic process.

Measuring Our Impact

We are a data driven organization, and strive to create programs that are strategic in identifying the community members involved and are measurable in outcomes in both Power Building and within the Indicators of a Healthy Democracy.

We use sophisticated data analysis to identify communities that have been historically undercounted and develop targeted engagement strategies. Community Power

Our programs focus on building sustainable civic infrastructure that empowers communities to advocate for themselves beyond election cycles. For us, it starts with listening. Our listening tour following the 2022 Midterm Elections is a prime example. Explore the insights and data we gathered in focus groups and one-on-one conversations that directly shape our work here.
